Ajax links will not display in ie.

Simply put, in Firefox, the ajax links work fine. They're targeting a div and in Firefox everything is fine, but in IE, it mucks up.

I do not see any links at all.

I am surprised that ...item(0) works in any browser.

Change

document.getElementsByTagName("head").item(0).appendChild(fileref)

to those four lines I posted above.

I can only think that the problem lies somewhere else, not in the code your have posted.
