Well i should say i dont even kno JS and want to learn it.
Can some one tell me some good books to learn JS for a newb person who you can take as a compleatly new to coding even thought i know some PHP.
I have looked at some JS as it is nothing like PHP and like a lot of the feature of it so would like to learn it..

If you want to use books, I like the "Visual QuickStart" series.

I have "The Complete Reference JavaScript Second Edition" from Mc Graw Hill/Osborne.
It has good explaination of basic programming terminology which never did programming before and than based on that it's goes from basic to advance scripts. Nicely put together with reference which is always useful.
But this is my point of view. I like book written in this style.
