update data in php mysql

Hi, i facing a problem with update data in database...
i had create 3 files

the problem are the existing value of database cant display in table and also i cant update the database...i don't know what's problem...

first thing is you need to write correct php syntax. <?php ?> like this.. bt <? ?> is ok..
bt it will give u unexpected errors.

the result you are echoing in the while loop should be like this

Thanks for your help ...now i able to display data in the table, but i cant update the data after click Submit button in update.php. But, i wonder why it show me "Successful" and without any error.
