I want to create a form in web app where users can enter there name and emailid and dropdown list(whether it is from management, student or guest). For some of the preferences, I would like to open a dialog containing a drop down menu allowing user to pick an option and have it saved through ajax. Is it possible with javascript ?
it is something like login page of this forum
when we click on the member login if gives a prompt and we enter our userid and password

Yes, AJAX leverages JavaScript to perform these behind the scenes calls back to the web server. You can also use the jQuery library which makes working with AJAX even easier.

for my knowledge
If i only want to create form then is it possible to create it while only using core javascript donot want to use any framework or jquery type lib
