I need some information about dropdownlist on a web page .
I want to select items when I type each item on dropdownlist without opening dropdownlist .

hey, u can do this by the help of javascript. and this is the best way that i suggest iff d drop down list is not filled much more than 50 records. if there are 50 or more records pls opt 4 a search pop up window and do serverside coding..

What you are describing is called a "ComboBox" and it doesn't exist in HTML.
