OK, so its like this... I decide to build my own PC. Looks like its just like doing lego. I now have just about all the bits I need to get going but am stuck at the first hurdle.
I have a single SATA hard disk and am trying to get XP to see it is there in the early stages of installation (with no luck).
Have tried a variety of jumper settings, bios settings, and also lots of ways of trying to get a bloody driver on to a floppy disk.
To add insult to injury I cannot get any sence out of the companies that make the stuff and so I have taken it on myself to prematurley learn how to use forums........HELP!!!!!
