Hello everyone,

I'm working on a social media growth platform and researching different ways websites attract and retain users. I've noticed that many platforms rely on a combination of SEO, content marketing, community engagement, and social media promotion.

For those who have launched or marketed websites before, which strategies delivered the best results? Are organic methods still effective, or is paid advertising becoming necessary for growth?

I'd love to hear about your experiences and any lessons learned from building online communities or social media-related projects.

Organic efforts may be effective, although they perform better if the platform offers something worth discussing and sharing among its users. From personal experience, I find that engagement and maintaining the activity of users can have more effect on the long term than simply driving traffic.

A handful of engaged users may generate more energy than a large number of inactive users.

If you were to try to compete with what is out there today, you are being foolish.

There's still room for being unique and delivering the news. Try Substack for example.
