Imagine having someone else working to build up traffic to your site while you create more content. If you do not want to outsource the link building that is fine. Thanks for your good and informative article but i have one question for you. my competitor sites have less back link and lost of sites not optimized properly but these sites are ranking above instead of my site. Please have a look my site thenerds.net and give me some good suggestion.

Apart from that social bookmarks, All these let me to hit good ranks on Google for my keyword searches. find a single site with a pr 6 or a single pr 7 contact the administrator of that site to post a link with an anchor text on his site, you may offer anything in return but for site with non competitive keywords works just great and if u will find lots of that kind of sites to link to U rulez
