I have just started web developing and have learned on how to code.
But my site tend to be miserable when it comes to aesthetics,selection of fonts, Background and foreground color and such stuff.
So what i want is some good books,tutorials,videos anything that can help.

I can recommend sitepoint.com as a great resource for design and development (have been using for about 8 years) plus they also release books an all sorts of aspects of the industry, including the book The Principles of Beautiful Web Design http://www.sitepoint.com/books/design2/ which I have owned in the past and can recommend.
Ok. I am a little weak in following books so are there any lynda videos out there.
