My ACER Trevelmate C300 BIOS was upgraded in the past with no problems, but using the most recent BIOS Flash upgrade to version 1.13 (Can-V113.exe). The version I upgraded from was 1.08.

After completing what I thought was a good flash, the maching restarted on its own and it never came back. The disk activitn blinks just once and then the bluetooth light just flashes until I turn it off.

Is there anyway to reset the ACER Travelmate C300 BIOS to the original factory settings? It there anyway to externally flash it. There is no floopy disk for this machine, only a DVD/CDROM or the USB ports, but nothing appears to work after the problem flashing it.

Some machines came out with a feature such as dual bios. If that's the case then help is only a few steps away. If not then the bios chip will have to be replaced with one that has a useable bios ver. installed.
What you experience is a rare occurance but now you know that it can happen.
