Hi!

I get the message "CPU is unworkable or has changed. Please check soft menu" when I boot my computer. When I press F1 everything seems to work fine, except that I can not connect to the Internet through my LAN cable (not sure that the problems are connected).

I have disassembled my computer and reassembled with with a few missing pieces (floppy drive and one DVD drive), since then I am getting that message.

I have an ABIT NF7-S motherboard and an AMD Athlon XP 2500+ processor. Also, when I go into the Soft Menu, it tells me CPU Internal Frequency 1100 MHz (100x11.0). Is that normal?

Anyone can help? Thank you!!!

You have the processor's fsb setting set at 100MHz instead of 166MHz. Reset CMOS because that will restore default settings. should be detected correctly with those in place ;)
