Running on ME, I have two printers connected and can choose which to use via a switch. Frequently printers wont print and a message appears saying 'Out of paper etc' although there is plenty of paper. I have tried connecting direct to the PC bypassing the switch, cleaning the paper-pick up rollers, checking for any new patches, no progress. Usually the rollers do not even turn to catch the paper. Printers are HP630c and 500. Help please! HP help is no value this time.

Sounds like a driver conflict to me. Try installing one at a time and downloading the current drivers for each.
