explorer.exe restarting continuously

hi!

im having this problem with my computer whereby my explorer.exe keeps crashing and restarting. this cycle only stops when i manually terminate the process. but it restarts once i re-run the process manually. i strongly suspect that this is due to a (rather shady) exe file i opened today (which shift+deleted itself right after i ran it, or so it seems to me because it has disappeared.)

i have already run scans with (updated) spybot and ad-aware but no positive result. i saw some other posts from people having the same problem, but i thought it appropriate to start a new thread with my own hijack this log. which is pasted below. this scan was run whilst the explorer.exe was in its infinite crash loop.

my computer is facing no other (identifiable) problem besides this.

any help would be much appreciated.

(by the way, i renamed hijackths.exe to iamabunny.exe and ran this scan as you will notice in the processes list. i read this part in one of the threads and decided to do it just to plug one extra hole.)

alright... i read around in the other related threads and ran combofix in safe mode. it quarantined some files that are also showing up in the old hijack this log (eg - dlls with funny names) and now my computer seems to run normally...

is my problem solved? or is something still lying dormant?
