Hi, im really really hoping that someone can help me!!!!
I hav followed all of the steps in thread 6255 and nothin has worked and i really dont no what to do!!
the computer i hav is a laptop. my service provider is AOL.
I got the stupid virus from goin onto a web based msn client called piglet im. This also gave me over 350 spyware problems and 6 other trojans, all of which i hav successfully managed to remove with my anti virus programmes.
I hav AVG 6.0 free edition and spysweeper and spybot and windows washer (sweeper and washer by webroot - trial edition altho full edition)
i also downloaded and used hijackthis...which found nothing on my system in regards to sites mentioned in thread 6255..but it did mention the 'about:blank' which i deleted..although when i logged back on it was stil there.
I know how to put things in safe mode, although my AVG won't work as it says that the driver core was not there or somethin along the lines of that.
I honestly don't know what to do!
I am computer literate and anything i am unaware of i can pick up easily if things are explained properly to me.
