I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows XP Home Edition on it.
I went to install AVG 8. and a warning poped up telling me that there was already another antivirus program installed on the laptop, and that I should remove it first before installing AVG.
I don't think I have another A-V program on it. It used to have McAfee, Norton and it also had Defender Pro at one time.
All of those have been completely removed with Revo Uninstaller.
Can someone check this HijackThis log to see if you see any A-V programs on it. And if ya see any "nasties", let me know please.
