Can you pls do the following:

1. - Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?part=dl-10804572&subj=dl&tag=button) to your desktop.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure to checkmark the Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
* Post the log back here.

Make sure that you restart the computer.

2. Now, we need a HJT log.
Click Here to download HJT V2.0.2

* Save HJTsetup.exe to your desktop.
* Double click on the HJTsetup.exe icon on your desktop.
* By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Hijack This.
* Continue to click Next in the setup dialogue boxes until you get to the Select Additional Tasks dialogue.
* Put a check by Create a desktop icon then click Next again.
* Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
* At the final dialogue box click Finish and it will launch Hijack This.
* Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
* Click Save to save the log file and then the log will open in notepad.
* Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
* DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

In your reply, post the logs (in this order):

You are running two anti-virus programs on the computer, AVG8 and Norton/Symantec. The rule to always follow is ONE anti-virus program on a computer. If the Norton is expired, or soon to expire and you do not plan to renew it then UNINSTALL it, if it is current and has awhile to go before renewal is needed then UNINSTALL AVG 8, but one of them must go. Having more than one would certainly slow the computer BUT it possibly actually lessens the protection you have because they will fight each other and could miss what comes onto the computer.
Uninstall one of these TOTALLY using Add/Remove and then reboot. Then do another HJT scan and post that new log.

You are going to have to go here and get the Symantec/Norton removal tool to uninstall the Norton program from your computer. As you can see by all of these entries in your HJT log, including the running processes, the uninstall was not successful.

Go to the link below and then click on whichever version of Norton Antivirus you were running to get the tools to uninstall your version.

Follow the instructions given and complete the removal.
Reboot if prompted to do so.
Then to be safe you will need to do a file search on the computer for any remaining files.
Go to Start, Search, Files and Folders and be sure to enable the Advanced Search Options of Search System Folders, Search Hidden Files and Folders, Search Sub Folders.
Search first for Norton. Delete all that are found. Then repeat the same operation for Symantec and Delete all that are found.
Reboot and run a new HJT scan, save the log and post it back here.

Looks much better. You do need to update your Java program, it is way out of date.
Go HERE
Download the Offline Install and save it to your desk top.
Once the download is complete then go to Start, Control Panel, Add/Remove and Uninstall ALL old versions of Java that you find there.
Once that is completed then go to the install file on the desk top and install that new version.
When the new version is installed then go back to the download page and on the right side you will see Verify Now. Click that to go to the verification page to be certain that the new version was installed successfully.
