My google search keeps redirecting to web-analitycs.google.com before displaying the page. Some pages I click on will go to a random site.
It seems to be on and off.. sometimes i can search normally.. (in firefox)

On internet explorer it is worse - if i search for something i will be redirected to windowsclick, 123abcjump and other sites.
Note - i don't know if this is unrelated, but i can not run malwarebytes or even the setup for this program. I also tried to install Superantispyware, but it wont install this either. I have been searching online but cant seem to figure out what to do without help.

my avg found nothing, nor adaware

Please help.. I'm exhausted from not having any solution!

Delete the MBA-M installation file that is on your pc at present.
Go back to download MBA-M again. Click on the link to download it. Select the "Save" option.
When the panel pops up to ask you where you wish to save the file, before choosing where, rename the file. I chose "bambam" in my screenshot just as an example,
Once you have saved it, try again to install it.

* Double-click bambam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure to checkmark the Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Download the update from here if you have problems.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
* Post the log back here.

The log can also be found here:
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt
Or at C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt

Make sure that you restart the computer.

Post new HJT log.

Ok - renaming it to bambam.exe let me install it - except on the last installation screen it just froze (well i could click on and off it, but it just stayed the same). The program appeared on my start menu but it doesnt open when i click it, just like the existing version of malwarebytes i have, and it wont uninstall either! it's not listed on add or remove hardware, but version i already had on my computer is.

I tried this twice, and each time the same thing happened.

When I have a window open, it will be become inactive, like i have clicked on another window. I keep looking at the task manager but i can't figure out what program is causing this!

EDIT - I managed to run combofix and it found a rootkit! Will restart and post new hijack this log..and run malwarebytes

Combofix found and removed the rootkit, as i stated above.. then i ran malwarebytes and it found 11 more files from a rootkit and trojan.
All removed, thank god. I don't understand why AVG didn't find these at the time but it popped up when malwarebytes found them.

I have since run combofix and malwarebytes again and they found nothing, so I am hoping that everything is okay! The problems stopped as soon as i ran both programs for the first time.
Does it seem fine to you? Thanks :)

Looks great
