I have a Gateway laptop with windows xp I am not able to boot up. When I turn it on all seems well until the window pops up to log on to windows. My options read OK, CANCEL, SHUT DOWN or OPTIONS. Options doesn't give me anything different and if I click OK it starts looking for my personal settings then says logging off then closing network connections and back log on to windows. In safe mode under c: dir I find a command line that corresponds with the date this began that reads env_var.ini any ideas?
