Help this virus has ruined my computer

Hello im a new user to this wonderfull site and i would really apreicate some expert Help in removing this nasty virus that has not been able to get removed with any of the programs ive used

its gone so far as to disabling my internet connection
(even though i check and see if my internet is running and it is)

i cant access the following virus programs

.super anti spyware
.spybot search and destroy
.maleware bytes
.Smitfrud Fix
.Clamwin

nothing works as ive tried useing (Ad-Aware) to scan in safemode picks up a virus removes it but it keeps comming back i apreicate all the help anyone can give me i cant format as ive lost my disc and ive got very important work on the computer that i cant access due to some folders not opening up!!! please help

Could you provide some more info about the particular virus?? Run a Hijackthis scan and post the log. Maybe we can figure out something.

Hi Thank you for replying!!! idk what more to say about this annyoing trash of a virus it has stoped my hole internet from working even though my provoiders tell me im connected i have no way to update my virus scanners i have to download them on clean comp and burn them and paste them on the infected one

Your PC looks fine, Can't isolate the reason for the problem you are having..

One thing i noticed is you are running PnKbstra...its exploitable..
Unless You Have not installed PunkBuster Yourself (Integrated in some games like Battlefield, America's Army), do the following...

Download the following program:

http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbsvc/pbsvc.exe

Open the program above and click the "Uninstall" button. This will remove the PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe service.

Some may need to rmove the registry entries.

Go to START --> RUN .. type regedit

search in these parts

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Controlset001\Sevices look for PnkBstrA PnkBstrB and PnkBstrK .. just right click on the folder listed on the left and delete.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Controlset003\Services look for PnkBstrA PnkBstrB and PnkBstrK .. just right click on the folder listed on the left and delete.

Also in C:\windows\system32\drivers is PnkBstrK.sys .. safe to delete.

Note : Do this ONLY if you haven't installed it directly or maybe indirectly by installation of some online-multiplayer-games and it has appeared on its own...

that is the only thing that im having problems with my modem says im connected my providers says im connected yet i cant connect? please help!

I can connect to the internet via Firefox and Mail through Thunderbird,but I get the same error as you when I try Internet Explorer,or Windows mail. Windows can't update either as it must use the same connections as Explorer? Anyone any ideas??

Yep,same problem as me,luckily for me I downloaded firefox before the trojan got in,otherwise I wouldn't any internet connection either!
