I'm a newbie, so not sure what to post to get help. Basically, my dad's PC stopped connecting to the internet, and he's given it to me to try and fix. It's still running Windows XP (Home Edition SP2). When I do the command for IPCONFIG, it shows that it's connected to our service provider, and has an IP address. I've tried opening in Firefox and IE, and nothing works. I tried the "netsh winsock reset catalog" command, and restarted the computer, but still no luck. Any suggestions?
