Reboot your computer in Safe Mode, make sure that you have no programs running in the background (including browsers, messengers, etc), run HijackThis from its own folder (if it's in a zip file, extract it to its own folder, like "c:\hijackthis\"), select "Do a system scan only", and put a check mark next to each of the following lines:

Once you have checked those lines, select "Fix checked" and approve any dialog boxes that pop up.

After you have done that, restart your computer, create a new HijackThis log, and post the log here.

when i downloaded hijackthis i clicked run instead of save. And how can I know if hijackthis is in its own folder?
