Should I be worried about a "DDE server not responding" message?

Hello all, I just got a funny message: "DDE server not responding" upon shutdown. I ended the task. Should i be worried about this or not? Never happened before.... Thanks in advance.

There is no reason for either of the 2 DDE services to be running on a home pc. Set them to disabled under administrative tools -> services. (dont do this if you are on a corporate domain, i think you need them then)

Thanks for getting back to me so soon. I've looked in >services and it appears that the only 2 entries marked DDE (Network DDE and Network DDE DSDM) are both already disabled. Is this what you meant or should I try something else?

Set them to manual or automatic (try manual 1st) and see if it gives the error. Sounds to me like something needs them to be running.
