hi,

i need help with this log. Since a few days my comp has been acting weired with all sorts of msgs....adware, dialer, 888toolbar and what not. i have virus, adware spyware scans to get rid of these. but these seem to be coming back. i am posting a hjt log. please help in identifying the unwanted activities i have attached the log.......thanks

Hi goodwill,

The HJT log you attached is slightly incomplete (it's missing some important header information). Also- we need to see the log pasted directly into your post instead of attached ads a Word file. Here's how you can do that:

Run HijackThis, but do not have HJT fix anything yet; only have it scan your system! Once the scan is complete, the "Scan" button will turn into an option to "Save log...".
Save the log in the folder you created for HijackThis; the saved file will be named "hijackthis.log". The log file will open in Windows Notepad once you save it; cut-n-paste the entire contents of the file from Notepad and post it here.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The HJT log which I had posted was for one of my computers which I have reformatted now. But I am posting another log for a different compuetr which I am using I am sure there is a lot of unwanted stuff on this comp. Please check and help. I am getting popups, weired system error msgs and what not. My windows temp folder gets full within no time with files which i cannot recoganize. I cannot even scan my compuetr with antivirus, cos it automatically stops during the scan. I have run several spyware removal softwares but those identify the same malware even after deleating, when the scan is run again.
Here is the log....
