Hi Everyone,
I recently helped fix a friends computer running XP Pro that had a problem with spoolv.exe using up 99% of the CPU - making the computer so slow is was basically unusable. Through much trial and error (we are both far from experts:cheesy: ) we seem to have fixed that drama.
However I thought I would post the HijackThis log for the computer here so that someone who actually knows what they are doing can have a look at it. If someone could let me know if there is something wrong (or let me know if it looks fine....) it would be greatly appreaciated. I have my suspicions that they may be some undesirable things going on in her computer but unfortunately I dont know enough to say for sure.
This scan was run after the spoolv.exe problem was fixed...the computer seems to be behaving now. I'm not sure if that is important or not....
Anyway thanks for your time...here is the log
