problem with caller.exe

Hey you guys I have a problem with my computer as so many at this forum. :cry: I cleaned my computer up a while ago and there was a lot of addware and spyware. Most of the mess I could clean myself but I'm having trouble with something called: caller.exe I read about it in another forum and it's right that it's also a procces of me. I hope I can fix that stupid thing with hijack cause my virus-scanner can't. I hope you guys can help me with the log file :

Ok. Hopefully you have not rebooted since running Adaware as you may not have been able to log back in due to this entry.
F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\Windows\System32\wsaupdater.exe,

Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked' :

Now run Adaware again, reboot & post another log as there will be more to do.

- You can safely have Ad Aware and SpyBot fix what they find; they're pretty spot-on.

- The different procedures are due to th efact that there are so many malicious programs out there (with the number growing daily) that there's no single "catch-all" utility to remove all of them. Also, some of the nasties are very difficult to weed out of your system, hence the occasional need to even whip out the tweezers and do some manual surgery.

Hope I did all the thngs you said wright and I tried to find spykiller but it I couldn't find it at my program files so I deleted/fixed it also with hijack-this hope I did the wright thing.

Yes, you did well. You appear to have a clean computer now.
On the page that first opens when you start Spybot there is an option to immunise, you should do this. In the immunise section there is also a link to download Spywareblaster. This program will prevent the install of bad activex controls that it has knowledge of. Download that & you can keep it updated by selecting the same link that you use to download it.

Make sure to download spywareblaster as it will prevent the installation of bad active x controls.

Okay nice thanks you very much but I have a last question :)
what is your opinion about Mc Affee because the problem is that he find somethimes infected directory's but then he gives you a few options what to do. you can remove it set in quarantine etc but non of those optoins work It's always the same and then I have to look for another way to get rid of the virus what do you recommend. another virusscanner or do you have another solution cause my computer has a probable virus again :(

This is an entry that appears when you uncheck an item in the Startup group, and will disappear if on the next reboot you select the option to not be reminded that you are running in Selective Startup mode

Clear your restore points now like so..
Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
Reboot.
Turn ON System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Note that this will remove all previous restore points. Should also kill the virus.
I have no knowledge of the MacAfee system at all, so have no advice to give except to say that NO antivirus program can fix a virus in system restore folder.
