I think my mom has gotten a virus or spyware of some kind on her computer. You know how when you are typing in a web address for a page that you have gone to before, it will automatically pop up after you type in the first couple of letters? Well, she was going to her myspace page, and when she typed "m", some web address for something along the lines of myprofile.com comes up and it is porn. Needless to say my mom at her age does not need to be looking at that type of thing...lol. She has tried clearing her history, temporary internet files, and all of that kind of thing, and it is still there when you type a web address that begins with the letter "m." I told her to go ahead and run Adaware and Spybot. I haven't heard back from her yet, but if that doesn't take care of it, what else can you recommend? She is running AVG free antivirus also (which has picked up nothing on the daily scans it does). Thanks in advance for any help you can give us.
