hello Im wondering if someone can help me, I was restoring my system to a previous date and once it was done the computer would not load, past the screen which comes up when you press f8, althougl I am not pressing f8 a friend of mine was tryin to run the xp cd from the startup but that would not start, could you help please

did your friend go into the BIOS to make sure that the cdrom was set as first boot device .
