ok so I just bought a new computer, everything is fine now except that I do not have sound. Never did for that mater. I got onboard soundcard coming from my ASUS M3A78-EMH HDMI. I know this thread is a repeat of many others very similiar but i've read all the solutions given in other threads and none have worked! I have gone into services.msc, device manager. Anyone have any other solutions maybe?

I had to reinstall windows to fix this problem the last time i had it on a computer ,not my own ! don't know what the person did to cause it ,but i tried everything before reinstalling winxp .
