Hi... My lap top's monitor started going black about a week after I installed Trend Micro. Dell nor Trend Micro were no help. I got upset and removed Trend micro and installed Care One. They detected I needed some Updates. So I installed them. all was well until I went to a web site and it went black again. Seems everything is working normal. The lap top is 3 yrs old and out of Warranty. anyone eles had this problem?

I've got the same laptop and have never had any real issues with it.
What is the computer doing when the screen goes black? And how do you recover from it? Do you have to reboot the machine to get it running again?
