um hi. i am on vacation at a beach house that has high speed wifi access. everyone else in the room i am in has it working. on person even has the same computer as i do. now it says that i am connected and nothing appears to be the matter but everytime i launch my web browser it says that it can't display the web page. when i hook up to the modem everything works fine but it would be most convienient if i wasn't stuck here in this claustrophobic room instead of out on the deck watching my kids run around on the dunes. please help me.

Sounds like an Internet Explorer problem. Open IE, select Tools>internet options>connections>lan settings, and make sure you aren't trying to use a proxy to connect to the internet.
