hello friend ,
i want to install active directory sevices {ads} in Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition.but i don"t want to install Domain Naming System {dns} on that system . how to do this ? i mean to use separate Domain Naming System {dns}server .
please help me .

I've never tried installing it without dns what happens if you run dcpromo does it give you the option for dns I forget? But you do need An operational DNS server for active directory to work
