I've been working on my final paper for a class of mine, and this morning I sent it to the recycling bin and then emptied my bin! I don't know what I was thinking...

I downloaded the Restoration program and I think I may have found it on there, but when I go to open it, it's nothing but a bunch of letters, numbers, and symbols. I have no idea what that means!
Also, just to throw another twist on the problem (haha), I wrote the paper in WordPerfect (I was too cheep to buy Microsoft) so sometimes the program has problems opening documents if they aren't in the right format.

I know ABSOLUTELY nothing about computers, this is a nightmare!!

Hi

I would use OpenOffice if I were you. You can even save documents in Microsoft Word format.

As for recovery try This.

- Hope this helps.
