I have windows xp ultimate and I had received a virus in some part of my operating system. So I deleted it. Now my computer will not start up. Goes to the safe mode selection screen. And that is it. How do I fix this problem?

What did you delete?
Do you have your XP OS disk? If you have it, you can do a Windows repair from your disk. This is as good as any site to learn how to do it.

You will have to reinstall all the updates since your disk was made, which could be quite a lot. before you start look at slipstreaming your OS disk.
