my sister's xp computer has a sd card slot which has worked before. Now whenever an sd card is put into the slot it see it, but then it says there is no driver. When I go check in device manger it says the driver is working correctly. can any one tell what it could be?

Simple reinstall could solve it, also you can try disabling ^ re-enabling the device ...
