I have been trying to install the Adobe Flash application. I have it but its not working so I tried to uninstall and reinstall, however, it goes through each part of the application and comes back with a "close window messenger". I don't have anything open and it quits the application download.

Do you use Windows Messenger, Betty? If not, remove it... go Control Panel > Add/Remove Pgms. In the LH panel click Add/Remove Windows Components; when that box loads scroll down to Windows Messenger and uncheck it, click Next..
