is there a free codec plugin for windows media player 11 as it can play only limited media file formats only

hi i use wmp 12 and seem to play most i throw at it ,when it doesn't i use vlc player it handles the rest . a lot of the codec download com with so much added shhhit it not worth it .

Also you can try MpcStar. It's the same as VLC but much more reliable...
