Hey all I have recently been havening problems with my sound. I have looked in the device manager and all sound controllers report no problem except C-MediaAC97 Audio Device, it says:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

I have tried to roll back the driver which doesn't work (says there isn't an old driver) and I can't use system restore (it was turned off for some reason). My sound card is an onboard on the Asus A7V600 motherboard, please help!

- Please post the full and exact details for the sound driver(s) you are currently using.
- Also give us as much detail/history of the problem as possible. The more we know about why/when the problem first occured, the better.
