Hi !
I got this Data error (cyclic redundancy check) message when I tried copying over movies from a data dvd disc that my friend burned off for me. I mean.... I was able to get like 90% of the movies into my hard drive but that last part wasn't able to go in because of that message. For example the disc had 11 episodes and I was only able to get 10 episodes and after that my pc will not respond anymore and I'll have to restart my pc.

please help!

sounds like disk problem.
it often happens with me.
Have u tried another dvd disk?
