In the system tray, near the time, is there a notification about upgrading to Windows 10?

If you go to your control panel, and go to update Windows, do you see an option to upgrade to Windows 10?

Or you could run Windows Update from the control panel. Windows 10 should be either in the Optional list or (perhaps by now) in the Important updates.

No significant gain seen moving from window 7 to 8... But, Window 10 is truly awesome! Ease of use - old Windows feel and familiarity etc, touch screen, usb3.0. Just it even has some imac touches. Just one thing - avoid moving all your stuff to the cloud. Stay in control of your stuff!

Except that this is a hardware thing, not a software thing. My laptop has USB 3.0 and is running Windows 7. Likewise, USB 3 works (DUH) under Linux.

avoid moving all your stuff to the cloud. Stay in control of your stuff!
