Hmm.. I finally thought of something I want.
A nice digital camera. =)

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

I never know what I want for Christmas.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Gross.
I don't see how anyone could possibly stand 5 minutes in that place.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

How in the world could anyone look at that picture and NOT notice her dress ????

Because it's not that big of a deal. I mean, everyone has their own fashion trends. So what if the thing was ugly?

Sulley's Boo commented: riiiiiiiiiiiiight!!! +5
christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

I didn't even notice her dress.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

I live in southern WV on the border of VA and it's about $2.29 here.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

I am not sure of the point about Oprah but it sure seems spurious; trying to belittle Obama by not capitalizing his name, capitalizing hers, and implying that he could not have won without her. Pure crap.

Oprah is the devil.

um no he wants to continue the war in afghanistan

I was quoting what I have been hearing from various "friends."
That's why I said they were ignorant.

iamthwee commented: Quoting from friends, I couldn't think of any source more reliable than that! +17
christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

I guess you have a long wait ahead of you then. Obama has made no claims to that effect. Sorry to rain on your hyperbole.

Whatever. Then I guess his voters were just ignorant. Because that is ALL I have heard from his supporters. "He's gonna fix our economy, he's gonna save us from a pointless war, he's gonna bring change!"

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

It would be very hard to screw it up any worse than Bush.

Sure. But I'm just waiting to see if media's superman will miraculously "fix" all of America's problems.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Okay GrimJack, no need to debate anymore.
The election is over.
So you can say whatever you want about your opinions of Obama, but mine will remain the same.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Assassination... that's kinda scary.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Obama makes me angry.
Hope he doesn't screw this country up.

Oh well!

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Eh. It's over.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Says your propaganda.

Whatever you say.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

I'm 75% certain that I will vote for Obama. I don't want someone who is 7 years older than I am to be President. He needs to be in a nursing home, not the white house. Even French President Charic was only 62 when he was first elected as president.

I know this post was from a while back, but I just had to comment it. Because I work in a nursing home and believe me, he's really not that old. You should see the people I take care of. ;)

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Cherry Limeade

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Yeah, you posted a video that opened with a lie and continued to lie all the way through. Posting lies is not supporting your position very well.
He did not vote for infanticide - that is a lie.
He is pro-choice - that is not pro-abortion.
He defends Roe v Wade because Roe v Wade supports his pro-choice view.
Here are some the bills he sponsored.
I looked at your link and it did not actually show his voting record; it just commented on what they thought his record was (but then so is my link).

Pro-choice is pro-abortion in my opinion. There is no in between. You're either pro-life or pro-death.
What lies are you talking about?
He DID vote for infanticide. (In 2002, he voted "NO" to protect newborns. A part of the Born Alive Infant Protection Package that protected infants after a failed abortion attempt, Senate Bill 230). That is infanticide.
In 1997 he voted yes to allow partial-birth abortions. (Senate Bill 1661)
In 2000 he voted yes to allow state funding of abortion and induced miscarriages. (House Bill 709)

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

First of all, did you check this out or simply believe someone elses hearsay? As far as I understand, Obama is against abortion except in cases where it threatens the life of the woman.

Obama's Voting Record
Obama defends Roe vs. Wade.
He is pro-choice... which means he is pro-abortion.
Where did you hear that he was against abortion? Everyone knows his stand on this issue. He voted for infanticide. I posted a video about this on another thread.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Oh my God, we all are pro life my dear!

Obama isn't.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

That remains to be seen.

True true.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Try now

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster
christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

My opinions probably don't matter anyway because I truly think Obama will win.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

So then you do feel qualified to judge his Christianity. On what basis do you draw that qualification?

I'm not going further into religion.
I told you what I believed based on his stand on certain issues. Period.
We all have different opinions, let's not fight about it.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

He means that the thread isn't a yes/no poll, but rather a discussion on the for/against arguments. "I'm against" isn't an argument, it's merely a statement.

Okay.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Of course not, but then I didn't presume to call into question whether anyone is "really a Christian".

Even so, you judge McCain on different issues do you not?
I judge Obama by his issues. Christians are pro-life, not pro-abortion. And Obama has voted for abortion 3 times. Sorry if this is considered judging, but everyone does it.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

I am recent college graduate with limited work experience, can I still get a pharmaceutical sales job?

If you're trying to be a Pharmacy Technician, then that wouldn't be hard at all. But what type of job are you trying to get?

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

The question is actually the title of this thread so throwing 'creationism' in is not an answer because it does not actually address the question. So if you wanted to divert the thread you should offer some discussion.

What do you mean throwing 'creationism' in is not an answer? Obviously I am implying that I am against the theory of evolution because of creationism.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

This is a pretty stupid statement (not calling you stupid).

Sure it is. But that's your opinion.

Are you a religionist saying that it is better to vote for McCain because he is a Christian and you think obama is not?
OR
Are you racist suggesting it is better to vote for McCain because he is white and Obama is not?

Using a last name for one candidate and a middle name for another candidate in the same sentence SEEMS to imply one or the other of the above statements. If it does not, them please tell me how it is an appropriate way to speak of a US Senator and candidate for President.

I'm not a religionist (which isn't even a word) and I am not a racist (I am multiracial myself!). I just simply like McCain better than Obama because I agree with his stand on most issues. Again, this has NOTHING to do with religion or race. This is about politics.
And I don't really care if you think that what I said is "inappropriate" because it is just a catchy slogan. No big deal. Honestly.

That's true. I doubt you're qualified to judge the matter.

MCain is a hack.

Neither are you.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Of course these types of questions are going on. They go on in the American population in general so Americans will post on this topic.

Btw: Creationism what?

That's not what I was implying. I'm saying, these types of questions have already been brought up in an earlier thread (more than once).

Creationism is my answer.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

hey christina long time no see

Hey I know! I've been soo busy with school. Nice to see you're still here. :)

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

You must be from Texas. I just love people from Texas.

Nope... definitely not Texas.

Are we quoting your Bible? You know the "throwing the first stone" quote. Mr. Obama is a fellow Christian.

The duck goes quack.

Just because someone proclaims they are a Christian doesn't mean they really are. You wanna see what his preacher is like? Didn't he preach a sermon with these words: "Not God bless America... no, no, no. God **** America." - And this is coming from the man that Obama has followed for 20 years.

I'm not getting into religion again on this site. Besides, this thread isn't about religion, it's about politics.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Something everyone should watch before the election on Tuesday.
Of course it's a little bias. But oh well.

Oh don't tell me these types of threads are still going on. *sigh* I guess it never ends.

Btw: Creationism.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

We haven't had one of those in quite awhile. Since about when christina stopped posting.
But now that she is back we are guaranteed one. ;)

Well I don't know about all this, but I'm not trying to make another "God thread," and I don't intend to either.
I was just stating my passions in life.

Good for you, going to church to save your soul is very important! God bless you!

:) Thanks.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

Maybe at one point but lately she has posted next to nothing.

Yeah, well that's because I have a lot of things going on in "RL" lately.

christina>you 820 Posting Sage Featured Poster

What is it that most intrigues you, the most important thing you pursue?

Nursing, love, God.
