well, it tells you what it thinks the problem is. You don't have a JDK installed and properly configured. Your tutorial probably assumes an older version of Notbeans, or another IDE altogether. You'll need to do some thinking of your own rather than mindlessly push buttons.

IF it's an executable jar, "java -jar <jarfile.jar>" where <jarfile.jar> is the filename of the jarfile (fully qualified if not on the current system path). If it's not an executable jar, you can't obviously run it. You can however run a class inside it (if it has a main method) …

MiG-29. I'd have to look up some data to find out the exact submodel used by the Luftwaffe, but I believe it's the A. And no, that's not a difficult one at all.

Hibernate comes with very good documentation. but if you don't know how to use properties files, you're not ready for Hibernate. I'd say you're not ready for JDBC either.
What if I fill the gun with 5/6? You still have a 50-50 chance of being shot?
On the first pull of the trigger, there's indeed a 50% chance. There's either a bullet there or there's not. Of course depending on the gun the chance of getting shot might …

another lazy schoolkid that's too stupid to think for itself and too lazy to use a search engine. And as usual it originates in India, land of lazy kids who only want a fast track to an H1b or similar so they can steal American and European jobs.
if (custNumber.length() !=6)
Doesn't take strings longer than 6 characters (which are allowed) into account. Everywhere else, take the actual length instead of 6 as the limit, and keep in mind that the index starts at 0, not 1. Then think about what you're doing. You reject the string as …

I wonder why he didn't simply look at Oracle's website where he'd have found out that the current production version is 11, 10 is still supported, and 9 long gone. He'd also have found complete product documentation, as well as product downloads for development and testing (but NOT operational) use.

you can't catch it, at least not reliably. There are many ways to close a window, some can be caught, some can not. I actually did extensive research into that several years ago, and that was the conclusion. Instead you should learn how to monitor session timeouts and act on …

It's quite simple. The Timer runs in parallel to the code that calls it. So your method returns immediately, and the dialog is disposed of before the Timer ever completes and starts moving the window (which at that point no longer exists).

use another tutorial... There is a lot of excellent documentation included with Apache Xerces for example. And the documentation that you can get for the JDK is also extremely complete.

there are many ways to do something like that. The Java application (most likely a servlet or EJB) can send the email and automatically handle the response. The database can do so as well. Or there can be a human being typing it all in. And no, noone is going …

Internally, the JVM has a thread scheduler. How it works depends on the hardware and operating system architecture it's implemented on (so may differ) but generally it will be preemptive.

Eclipse is faster, more stable, and more userfriendly. Netbeans has a superior editor for Swing forms. Given a choice though I choose neither, but use IntelliJ. The price is low, and quickly earned back in increased productivity and decreased frustration.

I think you would be best off creating that model in a dedicated 3D modelling application. Something like Blender or (if you have money enough) 3DSMax or Maya (or AutoCAD depending on what you want to do with it.

Class files can only be loaded from the same source as the html. When running in AppletViewer that can be the filesystem, when running in a browser security settings may well prevent that.
