How old is the PC? Remove any unnecesarry PCI cards and reboot - see if that helps

dont belive vistas specs 2gb of ram is whats good, if you want all the nice effects 2gb of ram = equivilent to xps performance with about 1gb

depends if the hp cds are custom if its the sort which allows you to enter a product key then yes, just enter the key from the sticker on the machine its being installed on. otherwise, buy a new copy

lens quality matters. go for the better manufactuer optical zoom is bettter than digital zoom too i have a 2mp olympus digital SLR . cost a fortune in 2000 but still holds its own in terms of picture quality, with most of the current midgrange point+shoot digital cameras.

I like IE7 but it has major memory issues - if i have more than 40 tabs open , even with 3gb ram, it lags and crashes.
