Most of the popular graphics cards are supported, but obviously not all are guaranteed.

If by "most" you mean nVidia :P

I've gone back to Windows myself. It has the everything-just-works -easily factor, and it's compatible with everything I need. I liked running Gentoo, but the rare broken ebuild and lack of just-works-easily eventually wore me out. Vista ftw. :icon_twisted:

micheal jackson is gay, and shouldn't be allowed to live in the U.S...

I think the gay community would be offfended at that comparison :icon_evil: :icon_lol:

High cost of living = high value
High land area = low value

High living causes higher "value," yes. Higher area does not have an affect on value, it's the contents of the area that affect value. NYC is huge and has a high value. Other areas don't have similar contents, and their value is thusly much less. Comparing the US and the UK as a whole is ridiculous. The US being [very] roughly 36 times the size of the UK, it has a lot more [relatively] little developed areas which have lower value. Hence national average value will be less.

Cost of living is always higher in cities. Why? Because there's money in cities. When money is more easy to come by, it's value decreases and costs increase. You go somewhere with less money, or to a relatively poor area, and the cost of living drops. Land value follows this trend for the same reasons. That's why a 2 bedroom rambler here in the city goes for $400k+ and a 4 bedroom place a couple hours away with a small acreage will go for $300k

I'm not that petty, and I believe that any rep I give should have meaning to the community. I'd just make fun of you through PM, or in the case of exceptionally entertaining comments, publicly.

publicly is definitely better, share the entertainment with the rest of us :icon_biggrin:

So, the VT thread is closed, and then we hijack this one to talk about its closure for a page? Of course, this one had already died, so I shouldn't complain much...

Well I still think guns should be illegal. Too much violence. And I don't care what people think.

I don't care what you think. And I'm right.

(I know this is an idiotic post. I'm making a point about yours.)

hm, so if someone posts a guess, then goes away for the day/night and doesnt find out for a few hours whether or not they were right, then the riddle poster confirms their answer, and the solver still hasn't returned, they lose their turn?

You really do just want another spam thread, don't you?
