I am trying to store the value in a variable and after referesh the page the old variable remain same
is it possible
like :I have stored 1,2,3,4,5 in
a option box.and max % is selected by default
I want if i select 3 and then referesh the page then 3 will display selected not 5
How I do it
plz Help me.

You can't, period.
When you refresh the page you place another request for the exact same page, which means you get the state of the page before you selected that item.
