Can you hook up the 3pin connector on the card directly to the mobod so the mobod can control the fan speed?

most newer cards are pretty noisy. They have really small fans that spin really fast and dont cool very well. i suggest that you do not hook your video cards fan into your motherboard because you could overheat and kill your graphics card. I suggest http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835118117 for a good quiet and very effective cooling solution for a graphics card. I replaced my super annoying stock fan on my 6600gt with this one and i just wish i would have done it sooner.
