I have no problem restarting my computer and getting to windows. The problem is that windows appears, then dissapears, the appears, and on like that until it finally dissapears permanately until I reboot. Talk about a hell of a virus here. Whenever I try to click my computer icon, it starts to get me in there but then, everything dissappears. I can't even reformat my harddrive and am thinking I might have to go out and get another one. Unless there's an alternatetive. I'd greatly appreaciate help!

How about testing your computer hardware is correct or not !
Download a Linux like KNOPPIX live CD and test it on the computer. Don't worry it load from the CD and doesn't touch even your disk. If it works ok then it is not a hardware problem but a virus/malware/anything else but not proper !!!
Obviously download free KNOPPIX live CD from another computer, a friend perhaps - to find it just google until you find a download place.
