i think i got from the Fm2005 no cd crack and i need help to get rid of the virus. Here is my Hijackthis log:

Hi. You are running hijackthis from a temporary folder, can you please download the self-extracting version from here.
Uninstall the other version first, then manually delete the file. Scan with hijackthis and tick the boxes next to all the following entries, then close all browser and explorer windows, and hit the "Fix checked" button.

Download the Pocket KillBox
Unzip the file to your desktop.
Run Pocket Killbox and paste the full file path of each of the below files in the box and click on Standard File Kill and End Explorer Shell While Killing File. Click on the button with the red circle and an X in the middle after you enter each file (see the files below).

Go here to TrendMicro for an on-line scan & set it to autoclean for you.

Try this scan at Panda as well.

Go here and download and run Silent Runners.vbs. It generates a log, please post the information back in this thread.

That is only part of the log. It should be way longer :). Where were the files that could not be deleted and what were their names? We can kill them with the killbox then.

Once rebooted, download the file I have uploaded. Unzip the fixme.reg file to your desktop and double click to run it. When asked if you want to merge it with your registry, click yes.

Post another silent runners log and a hijackthis log.

Run Dllcompare by clicking the "Run Locate.com" then click Compare button... when done post that log here.

Are you getting any error messages from killbox? Some of those files are still there.

Please download The Killbox from here: http://www.computercops.biz/zx/phoenix22/KillBox.zip

Unzip killbox to a folder.

Reboot into safe mode following the instructions here

Clear out your Temporary internet files and other temp files.
Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel >Internet Options.
Under the General tab click the Delete temporary internet files,
delete all Offline content as well. Clear out Cookies.

Also, go to Start > Find/search > Files or folders > in the named box, type: *.tmp and choose Edit > select all -> File > delete.

Empty/delete the entire contents of the C:\Windows\temp folder and C:\temp folder, if you have one. (Contents but not the folder itself.)

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\

In order to view these files you may have to select 'show hidden files/folders.' Instructions on how to here.

Empty the Recycle Bin.

Double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. In the "Paste Full Path of File to Delete" box, copy and paste the following:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\dxwinex.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlog.com
c:\windows\winsock.scr

Don't click any of the buttons though, instead please click on the Action menu and choose "Delete on Reboot". On the next screen, click on the File menu and choose "Add File". The filenameand path should show up in the window. If that's successful, choose the Action menu and select "Process and Reboot", but only after the last file you enter. You'll be prompted to reboot, do so.

Reboot normally after doing the above, rescan with hijackthis, then post that log here please.

Somehow one of the files have returned. Try the stinger or we can be looking at a format C.

Scan with hijackthis and tick the boxes next to all the following entries, then close all browser and explorer windows, and hit the "Fix checked" button.

Run Pocket Killbox and paste the full file path of each of the below files in the box and click on Standard File Kill and End Explorer Shell While Killing File. Click on the button with the red circle and an X in the middle after you enter each file (see the files below).

Reboot afterwards if the files are successfully deleted.

If all files are not deleted, do not reboot yet. Run Pocket Killbox again and paste the full file path in the box and click on Delete on Reboot. Next click on the button with the red circle and an X in the middle. You will get a message saying "File with be deleted on next reboot, Process and Reboot now?" Click "Yes" to reboot only after the last file you enter.

Once rebooted scan with hijackthis and tick the boxes next to all the following entries, then close all browser and explorer windows, and hit the "Fix checked" button.
