got a string of nasties a couple days ago, and just finished dealing with them ( almost ) my pc still boots up a bit slow, and every time i search something on google, the whole first page is total, offtopic sites. including Travelskoot, and strong-as-steel, no matter what the search is. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

got a string of nasties a couple days ago, and just finished dealing with them

It would certainly help to know exactly what these were, how they were removed and with what?
Were the scans you just posted done in normal mode? You appear to have very few auto starting programs.
If you have logs from the actual removals these would be much more helpful. Quite often the steps recommended depend on the actual malware involved.

Just noticed. The HiJackThis you are using is way out of date. Uninstall this and download a new version.

Your Malwarebytes' database is also way out of date. Current version is 2353. Please update it also and do a Full System scan. Have it remove anything found and save the log.
Please do both of these in NORMAL mode.

yes, this was done in normal mode, and thanks for your reply. im updating now, and will soon have a scan done. I have removed the majority of my startup apps, only my essentials are on startup (i hope..) Other than that there was a BDT involved i dont know much. going to search for the logs, and maybe ill get lucky. MBAM was outstanding in removing the majority of my issues when i did become infected, now im just playing catchup. Today my scanner (mcafee) has caught FakeAlert-DS, Generic Downloader.x!ft and Generic.dx!mv. Next post will hopefully have old logs, as well as an updated scan from both hjt, and MBAM.

This is the most recent MBAM, before updating that caught anything. (the one i believe got rid of the larger of my problem at the time)

Your most recent MBA-M scan shows No Action Taken. Also on previous scans did you reboot immediately after running the MBA-M scans and BEFORE you did anything else? This is essential for full cleaning most of the time and therefore the recommended way to do it. Also, it would help if you re-enable those auto starting programs for now, you can always stop them once this is complete. We can't tell what may be hidden on there, even if the program doesn't appear to be auto starting, sometimes they do.

Other than that there was a BDT involved i dont know much.

Honestly, I am not up on acronyms, what do you mean by BDT?

probably wasnt a proper acronym anyway, BackDoor Trojan. Yes, i rebooted. and I knew my scanner wasnt finding much, neither was mbam, but if i leave my computer for a few hours and look at what my mcafee has found, more often than not, its found something.
(without me doing anything, or having any other programs running) yes, i can put the few things back on the startup, and post the hjt.

Thanks, would like to see what is in there.
Also do the following:
Please Run the ESET Online Scanner and attach the ScanLog with your post for assistance.

* You will need to use Internet Explorer to to complete this scan.
* You will need to temporarily Disable your current Anti-virus program.
* Be sure the option to Remove found threats is checked and the option to Scan unwanted applications is Checked.

* When you have completed that scan, a scanlog ought to have been created and located at C:\Program Files\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt. Please post that log for us as directed below.
Reboot the computer. Run a NEW HJT scan and post that log along with the ESET scanner log.

well, i ran into a bit of a problem. yesterday (last night) i ran the eset, with all of my antivirus modules disabled but didnt realize my antivirus was scheduled to scan, and when it did, it caused my pc to crash, the log had nothing in it when i rebooted. the eset had found 3 adblocker (i believe) and one Kryptik variant, when i last saw it. I reran the scan, and it found nothing.

Are you running Sygate Firewall?

dont think so, i am only using my standard windows firewall, as far as i know.

Ok, first of all go to Add/Remove and Uninstall anything having to do with the Viewpoint Media Player. This is considered foistware and is not needed. It was installed with something else.

run HJT again and place a check mark next to the following entries:
O9 - Extra button: AIM - {AC9E2541-2814-11d5-BC6D-00B0D0A1DE45} - C:\Program Files\AIM95\aim.exe (file missing)

O23 - Service: Viewpoint Manager Service - Viewpoint Corporation - C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Common\ViewpointService.exe
Once you have placed the check marks click the Fix Checked button.
Exit HJT and reboot the computer. Then tell me how things seem to be running.

things are going well, as far as my startup and movement, but my google issue is still here. incase your as lazy as i am, ill retype it here. when i search ANYTHING it always brings up the same results, (there are two sets it will show) on the whole first page, the second displays normal results.
