Hijack this log - August 15, 2009

[fluboe]

Have "Security Warning" pop-ups "application cannot be executed...do you want to activate your antivirus software now?" - which links to a fake-looking site to purchase the software. Also have sounds playing from my computer (usually ads) even when I don't have an internet browser open. I've run multiple virus, spyware etc scans and temporarily can get the computer to calm down, but it always ends up coming back. Here's what Hijack this says:

Hi and welcome to the Daniweb forums :).

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_Anti-Malware_d5756.html) to your desktop.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure to checkmark the Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Download the update from here if you have problems.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
* Post the log back here.
