OK, new user, i think this is the right place, but please move if not.
I've installed Symantec antivirus, Adaware, Spybot, Xoftspy and run hijackthis.
I've read every thread i can find to fix most of the problems already, but have a few "left" The machine was heavily infested with Spy and Adware from MANY sources (600 hits on adaware, 18 trojans via Norton and spybot and xoftspy still managed to find an extra dozen nasties each). MSIE "occasionally" inks to a "search page" stored locally but i can't find/fix it. I have fixed the adult toolbar something installed with toolbarcop, but i can't remove the restriction to editing the toolbar normally. I've tried to fix MSIE, but while Netscape runs flawlessly, MSIE will not connect. The spyware/adware/adultware "search page" it brings up wants to link to "http://sortedlinks.net/uninstall.php"
I have tried the "hoaster.zip" file but to no effect, something is still hiding "somewhere"
Here is the current hijackthis output

Cheers, Miles.
